Meter unit and Control unit
Definition
Meter units (MU) are oil proportioning devices for single line resistance cyclic systems. Each outlet of a
lubricating system is controlled by a meter unit. The lubricator in the system dispenses oil to the distribution
network and meter units deliver this oil in varying amounts to the friction points.
Control units (CU) are oil proportioning devices for single line resistance continuous systems. Each outlet of a
lubricating system is run by a control unit. The lubricator in the system dispenses oil to the distribution network
while control units deliver this oil in varying amounts to the bearing points.
